On Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 14:00-14:45, a webinar entitled Improve your search in biomedical journals on the Ovid platform will be held for users.

Registration is necessary and you can do it on this link. The webinar will be in the Czech language only, and it can be watched directly in an internet browser.

Participants will be introduced to the contents of the journal collections published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, as well as practical information regarding access and searching:

• how access works from the faculty or hospital, and remotely from home or on the go
• how to search using keywords, phrases, Boolean operators, or advanced search in individual fields
• how to incorporate terms from the MeSH thesaurus into the search
• how to browse individual years and issues of magazines and set up notifications for new issues
• how to create a personal account and what are its advantages
• how to work with search results (saving, sharing, exporting records to citation managers, settings for sending news)
• where to look for help and advice
